Hannah and Graham's Spring Wedding at Samlesbury Hall

Graham Caldwell and Hannah Littlefair started their journey together at the University of Sunderland. Both of them would say their meeting was by pure luck that turned into pure love. Both of them dragged out on a what should have been a night of study and essay writing, they noted each other from across the dance floor and with an introduction from their mutual friends and a formal handshake between the two, their love story began.

After graduating successfully from university, the two were lucky to travel across Europe and discover Paris, Berlin, Rome and even Venice before settling and saving for their very own home. It was here that Graham shared his other true love Blackburn Rovers, of which Hannah joyfully joined in even on those cold, wet Wednesday night matches and the pair have been season ticket holders ever since.

Some time later and a lot of love and patience from Grahams parents (where they were living) the pair were able to buy their own home. It was on the day they collected the keys to their home that Graham had another surprise. After taking a tour of what they now owned, in their new kitchen, Graham asked ‘So you have 35 years with me but how about the rest of your life’ presenting the most perfect ring (albeit too small). With pure elation and through many tears Hannah said yes.

Graham and Hannah made an appointment with Samlesbury Hall on a wet October afternoon. The building is truly beautiful and steeped with history. After a wonderful tour from Rebecca, Hannah burst into tears knowing this is where she would be marrying her best friend. After 8 years of being together, a date was set the wedding planning could finally start.

Fast forward to the night before the wedding, the gatehouse was set for Hannah, her mum, maid of honour and bridesmaids. A wonderful evening had by all celebrating the upcoming nuptial between Graham and Hannah. The morning of the wedding everyone awoke with a nervous excitement, Lucy and Jenny were on hand ensuring we had all that we needed including letting our photographer Martin from Memories Made Photography into the Gate house to start taking pictures of the mornings festivities.

Finally it was time to walk down that isle, as soon as the pair saw each other, all nerves were gone as they could not hide the love they have for each other through their beaming smiles. The day was truly perfect, the ceremony was truly special. Sarah from Flowers with Passion ensured the Hall looked truly magical, with a wonderful display of flowers and beautiful chair sashes. The wedding Breakfast was fantastic, not only with gorgeous food, speaking of which, I would definitely recommend the beef and I had the best cheesecake that I have ever eaten but the entertainment from Will at PC Roadshows ensured it was a day no body would forget.

Both Graham and I can not thank everyone enough, it was a day full of fun, laughs, dancing and of course love.
