Last year we began to make improvements to the grounds at the Hall. A five year plan is in place and we aim to make them one of the most beautiful gardens in the region. We have renovated the courtyard planting, added a new showcase border to the main lawn and planted a large number of specimen trees and shrubs across the site. We have created a large new native wildflower meadow and begun to make improvements to the woodland areas. We are also currently planning to build an entirely new restorative community garden space.

If you would like to join us as we make further exciting changes then you are very welcome to join the friendly volunteer group that currently works on the grounds on Thursday mornings, 9.30am until 12.30pm. Volunteer sessions are led by our Horticultural Adviser Val Murray. Val is an experienced garden designer, garden design lecturer and horticultural therapist.

Please contact info@samlesburyhall.co.uk or call us on 01254 812010 should you wish to join the group. We look forward to welcoming you!
