Samlesbury Hall

The Hall and Grounds will be completely closed until December 2nd at the earliest.

If you wish to contact us please email info@samlesburyhall.co.uk or telephone 01254 812010.  If nobody is there to take your call, please leave an answerphone message and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding.

While we are closed you can still get the Samlesbury experience!  Gift vouchers are available for shepherds hut glamping stays, afternoon teas, waffles, cream teas... Or money to spend at the Hall on whatever you like!  Vouchers can be printed at home so there's no need to leave the house to buy your loved ones a fantastic Christmas present.

Every penny you spent goes straight back into the Hall's charity (no 526052) to help keep us open for years to come.

Welcome to Samlesbury Hall, one of the most beautiful historic homes of Lancashire, a haven for history lovers, where the past meets the present - a fantastic family day out. What will you discover?

Please always make sure to always visit our opening times before you travel to check we will be open when you arrive.

Please note - we are sorry but when we have guided tours and events taking place, the Hall will only be open to those with tickets.

Coronavirus COVID-19: Our beautiful Hall, grounds and play area are only open for those dining in either our Wafflery, Restaurant or staying in our Shepherd's Hut Hamlet.

The much needed income for our charity (526052) comes in as a result of selling our own food and drink. Therefore we do not allow food and drink to be brought in and eaten, which includes picnicking in the grounds.

“Visited today for the first time with my Mother and my daughter. We had a superb lunch in the restaurant followed by a leisurely stroll around the house and grounds. An excellent day. Will certainly recommend!” More »
