Well where to begin. Our wedding was 4 years in the making! We booked Samlesbury Hall for our wedding that should have taken place in 2021. As soon as we saw the grounds and the hall, we knew this had to be the place where we got married. Sadly covid got in the way and we had to wait another year, but my word, it was worth the wait!
Lucy Ann and Rebecca couldn’t have done more to ensure our day ran without any problems. They never complained about my relentless emails, the last minute changes and my general need for constant reassurance. Nothing was too much trouble.
The food was incredible! We had the traditional wedding breakfast followed by pizza and hog roast in the evening. This was one of the many highlights of the day.
Our guests loved the shepherd huts and we were all able to meet in the heritage cafe the next day for the best cure for our hangovers, the full English was perfect. We wish we could do it all over again.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Samlesbury Hall to other couples. It really was the perfect day.
