Our much loved Betsy Bumblebee is back again for more family fun this summer, with a brand new hilarious story! Enjoy crafts, treasure hunts and original stories in a 14th Century Hall.
The activities are suitable for children aged 3 – 11 years old
The cost is £6 per child. We strongly recommend you book tickets online (via the link below) as we cannot guarantee a space if you turn up on the day!
Please be aware that children will need to be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
10:30am: Storytelling with Betsy in the Chapel
11:15am: Free time for children to do their craft and the treasure hunt (this can take as much time as you need!)
Don’t forget to visit the Mayflower playground and play trail in the woods, as well as our small animals and Bee Centre.
You can also search for the hidden fairy doors in the grounds!
There is no charge for parking and entry to the Hall & grounds is completely free. Please be aware that we don’t allow picnics for this reason – our charity relies on the money we make from the delicious food & drink we sell which enables us to keep our doors open for free! You can book a table on the link below.
“Brought my 2 Children aged 6 and 10 today to the Easter Craft day and we had the best time. Spent 3 hours altogether and the kids LOVED it. We ate in the restaurant and were served really quickly and by very friendly staff. The food was delicious and i would highly recommend it. Excellent!!!”
“Visited today for the hunt and arts and crafts with Betsy the parlour maid Absolutely fantastic Will def visit again " betsy" was fantastic Lots of interactions for the kids and giggles for the adults”
"Me and my 2 children visit Samlesbury Hall every school holiday for the Betsy Bumblebee events and I would recommend them to all. The location is stunning, with free parking, incredible outdoor play area, bee care centre, animals etc and Betsy Bumblebee herself is fab. My kids love having a nosey around Samlesbury Hall during the treasure hunt and enjoy the crafts too. The events are great priced considering we typically spend around 3/4 hours at them each time. I recommend for families with children of all ages and can't wait to visit again"
Betsy will be here on the following dates:
