Hello, I'm Tracey (The Mindful Seasonalist) and I'm really pleased to be back at the medieval home of Samlesbury Hall to host my 'comfort and joy' wreath making workshops for another year. I'd love to have you with me.

If you're looking for a mindful, creative way to bring the festive season to your door, come and join me as I guide you to design your own bespoke door wreath using natural, British grown foliage in a sustainable way.

There will be hot drinks and mince pies for your arrival, and then we'll spend the morning celebrating the season so that you leave with a festive wreath for your door that will last for many weeks. We'll take things slowly and enjoy some calm, creative time together.

As well as your door wreath, you'll also take away a luxury CocoSoy candle evocative of all the seasonal joy (120ml) in an amber glass jar by my favourite supplier, Ethel & Co, to give a warm and comforting glow to your home.

In respect of the workshops, please note:

- All wreathmaking equipment is provided.

- It can be a little messy, but nothing that a good brush down doesn't remedy!

- Wear warm clothes as the room may be cool depending on the weather; layers are perfect.

Unfortunately,I'll be unable to accommodate cancellations once I've committed to the cost of materials. However, if you find yourself unable to attend for any reason, I will craft a seasonal wreath for you and deliver it, together with your scented candle, to your home if you live locally.

Numbers are limited to 8 per session alongside me. My workshops are for adults only, and are held in The Billiard Room of The Hall.

There are two weekdays here to choose from, but please see my website for weekend dates.

Make a day of your visit

Once the workshop has ended, you may feel ready for lunch.

For an additional cost(see menu below) you can enjoy a two/three course festive lunch at The Heritage Cafe or you can head to Dottie's Wafflery for lighter bites and waffles. Later on, you are free to take a stroll around the house and gardens, where entry is free, and where you can delve into the history of this beautiful stately home. Car parking is also free.

Stay the night

To extend your time away, you can enjoy a magical, cosy night at The Gatehouse, or in one of the charming Shepherds `Huts in the gounds of the Hall. After all, 'tis the season, and you might like to enjoy some peaceful enchantment before the festive fun begins.
