Christmas Lunches at Samlesbury Hall

The restaurant is open for Christmas lunches from Saturday 23rd November until Tuesday 24th December, serving delicious homemade food between 12- 3pm (booking essential).

We are closed every Saturday and occasionally on Fridays, please make sure to check our opening times before you travel.

STARTERS
Chicken liver parfait, spiced winter vegetable chutney & toasted brioche .
Smoked salmon with dill pancakes, house pickles & crème fraiche.
Curried parsnip soup, warm artisan bread.
Mulled pear, radicchio & caramelised walnut salad with blood orange dressing.


MAINS
Roast turkey, stuffing, dripping fat roast potatoes, honey glazed parsnips,
sprouts, pig-in-blanket & proper gravy.
Slow cooked shin of beef with baby onion & smoked bacon sauce,
carrots & horseradish mash.
Oven baked smoked haddock in tomato sauce with parmesan,
spinach & roast potatoes.
Moroccan vegetable tagine with chickpeas, with pearl couscous
& garlic flatbreads.


PUDDINGS
Christmas sticky Toffee pudding, toffee sauce & vanilla ice-cream
Winter berry panna cotta & orange shortbread
Chilled chocolate fondant with salted caramel sauce & white chocolate ice-cream
Fresh fruits with elderflower syrup and passionfruit sorbet
