Where & how did you meet, and where are you from?
We are both from Wigan, and met through mutual friends, we were friends for about six months before getting together
What made you pick Samlesbury Hall for your wedding venue?
Firstly we knew that we were looking for a venue where we could have everything from the ceremony through to the evening. We liked the idea of a rustic vintage style wedding which matched the style of the Hall, and also loved the look of the Hall in the autumn, it was the perfect venue!
What did you eat for your wedding breakfast?
We had a winter afternoon tea with soup, mini burgers, pork pies, onion rings, scones, creme brûlée and sticky toffee pudding.
What was the very best part of your day?
The whole day was perfect to be honest! But just after the ceremony once we had left the chapel we both suddenly felt so relaxed after the huge build up to the day. Being surrounded by all of our family and friends at that moment felt amazing, knowing that they were all there to share the day with us.
