Gardens
Samlesbury Hall is set in about five acres of grounds, beautifully tended lawns, ancient woodland and pretty borders are here for you to enjoy on a tranquil ramble.
The courtyard, fountain and herb garden areas provide a peaceful outdoor dining area with tables, seating, and service direct from the restaurant.
Our herb beds in the courtyard, yield fragrant bundles of dill, sage, basil, bay leaves, mint, chives, garlic, parsley, thyme, rosemary, marjoram, and is the perfect place for a pre-lunch stroll to see what will feature on today's menu. See the chefs running out to pick the herbs to flavour the scrumptious meals in the café/restaurant. (It is also host to the ever popular food and craft fairs, held on the last Sunday of each month)
The fruit trees and bushes provide the kitchen with the freshest ingredients for the nutty crumble of the day (see menu)
Have a bit of fun meandering along the snake in the grass, up by the animal farm.
The link road leads visitors to the adjacent golf club and plant centre, adding to the attractions on offer and ensuring a busy and fun-filled visit.
